How could you have forgotten all that evidence we saw in Eps I & II?

I'm old, not as old as pretty much everyone else, but old still the same. I must have been 18 when I first came in contact with you people. Andm what, I'm already 29. Oh, how the time flies. Had some good times hanging out here with you guys. Good to see this place still exists. Live long and prosper.

- I remember following a "Choose Your Own Adventure" Star Wars fan fiction at the site which shall not be named.

- I remember taking over the writing of this fan fic at approximately the time when Phatooine was created.

- I remember being a confused, right-wing high schooler with the user name "Rush Limbaugh".

- (In retrospect) I remember being humored by everyone around here with a lot of the bullshit coming out of my mouth. :))

- I remember meeting several of you at Star Wars Celebration III and working the Phatooine table.

- I remember discovering this forum while searching for LotR avatars on Google Images

- I remember trying to speak Elvish (no idea why)

- I remember a load of time wasted spent on these forums before college life took off

- I'm not sure I was ever asked my age but I remember being made a mod when I was 17 on a forum with a Fight Club/Filth Forum - it amused me greatly

- I remember spikes of sudden e-drama on here which I could never figure out and steered well clear of

- I remember some smart, interesting, creative and hardworking people on here which proved to me that Star Wars fandom isn't (just) nerds and dweebs

- I remember Thad Beaumont, Obvy's bitch (how is he doing?)

I though e-drama was the whole point of the site to begin with. It did start with AoE, after all. :p

The drama was definitely entertaining. Except when The Server was involved. That was a headache.

That damned server ... was more like a friggin mosquito than anything else. You knew it'd bite. It'd itch and be annoying. But there wasn't a damned thing you could do about it ... no matter how much bug spray you used. :p

No one remembers me?! I don't make it into the data bank? Lol

- I remember finding this place a couple of months before ROTS came out.

- I remember falling in love with the place and all the cool people here.

- I remember being a mod within a few months and how cool it was to get colors lol

- I remember making it all the way up to an admin and getting war room access

- I remember the posting machine that was Reva_durron, and I miss her

- I remember caring about my post count (I was over 25,000 before a ton of stuff got deleted to save server space, I still kinda hate you guys for that haha)

- I remember dmg reading all my aim chats with girls I was trying to date and giving me pointers on how to ask them out. I still heed his advice to this day, Dave and busters is a good place for a date lol

- I remember being friends with some of you people on MySpace, and for that matter, I also remember MySpace lol

- I remember this place being a sort of funny safe haven that helped get me through a rough time in my life. It was always nice to just kick back and joke around with some cool ass people

- I remember EP telling me that the Internet is about communication and as such I should used correct grammar

- I remember getting fired by sox for using my admin powers to delete some of my own posts even though he told me not too. Lol.

- I remember talking about some problems after that with sox and getting some brotherly advice. And I remember leaving to concentrate on getting my real life off the ground as it were. It's funny though, my real life is pretty good now with work, friends, etc, but every once in a while I remember this place and am awed by what it meant to me. Every year or so I just sit back and think damn, I had some fun here. And I wish I could go back and relive those times

- And finally, I remember a time, publicized in many a joke here on Phat, before I ever got laid. I am most happy to report that that time ended a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... (And by far far away I mean a beach house in Long Island).

- I love you phat!

Love those memories. This sticks out to me:

I remember EP telling me that the Internet is about communication and as such I should used correct grammar

I remember when I started posting on theforce.net, someone ripped into me for usin aim lingo, wutup?

Ever since, I tried to use proper grammar. It really stuck (and made a difference).
