Who do you think will win and why?

Technically, that is true since teams are franchises and operate as a business. So which one?

Not really all that into football, but I'll watch the Superbowl if the Niners are playing, if only because I'm a Bay Area native.

mmmmm why isn't there an option: "the world needs this... why?"

Then again, as a european I probably have a bit more trouble understanding the point of that game to start with.

That's because unlike these other sports, hockey is actually fun to watch. :p

and the rules make sense. Or rather... no need to be brain dead to actually understand it :p

(oh and... the spectator actually as to keep the eyes on the puck as well... getting hit by one of those things tends to be painful... as in... really painful:

IZZY: hey watch.... *odd noise coming from her left* out.
REVA: ermm... what just happened? *incredulous look from IZZY*
IZZY: you got hit...
REVA: by what? *IZZY points to where REVA is holding a little black disk.* Oh. When did that happen? And why am I bleeding?
IZZY: #-o

Yessh. My brain was a wee bit scrambled. Thankfully Izzy has a very comfy guest bedroom and a dad who's a doctor. Which is probably why I didn't get to profit from her guest bedroom so much as from an uncomfy hospital bed with an ugly (male) nurse waking me every two hours and asking me asinine questions. And to make it all worse, the doctor on duty when they dragged my sorry ass there was female.

I'll be honest, I never watched hockey that much. I played a little roller hockey in high school...and I watch the playoffs (I'm a Bruins "fan" - I can't honestly claim I watch enough to be called a fan but I root for them from afar)...I do keep track of standings and read up on the teams here and there. But what's funny is that when I ask my 6 year old about what sport he wants to do...and he says hockey! I'm not sure where he got it from!

As for the Super Bowl...I do watch football and I'm going 49ers. Ray Lewis is a thug who should be in jail or at least not playing and JIM Harbaugh is a former Bears quarterback...so I'll give him the nod :)
