Its likely to speed up after the 7th movie comes out. TFN hit its heyday after episode 1 and between 2 and 3.

That's what I was thinking too. 2002-2005 was a crazy time at TFN.

Also don't forget the time elapsed. With the prequels, it had been 16 years since we had some Star Wars outside of books & comics. Star Wars has been a steady presence ever since then, from the movies, to Clone Wars, etc. It's not the same kind of excitement - the resurrection has already happened.

I think having a convention surrounding the movies helped a lot too. TFN was really the only place to get info on the Star Wars Celebrations. I would expect business to pick up next summer or next fall, especially if they announce a celebration to go along with release in 2015.

Ah the spoiler forums of olde.... It's a crazy shift from then to now. I remember so vividly digging as deep as I could for new TPM and AOTC spoilers. Yet now I have so much to think and worry about in this stupid physical world thst I probably won't give more than a passing thought to Episode VII rumors and spoilers. Ah.. to be young again. AHBY.

Heh. I agree Requiem. It was much easier searching for every new picture after school every day. This real world stuff is for the birds.

On the other hand, since nothing happened in ROTS without me already knowing about it, I will enjoy episode VII being relatively spoiler free.

If Abrams' work on Star Trek is any indication, you probably won't know a whole lot until the movie is close to being out or already out.
