My friend and I have made vague plans to do this after we read a whole diatribe on it and supposedly it works amazingly well

Makes no sense to me. TPM is infinitely better than AOTC.
If you ever have the chance for redemption, take it. Without hesitation.

Replace TPM with a reading of the Darth Plagueis novel...

TPM is irreplaceable. Instead, replace AOTC with the entire run of the Clone Wars series from Filoni.

Now this is pod racing!

Really? Really? Come on. I am not a TPM hater, but AOTC is infinitely better. TPM has one of the best dual scenes of the trilogy, but that really was it's only awesome point.

I honestly think this would be the best order for someone new to the saga to watch them.

Although in honest assessment I tend to agree with EP. I think AOTC is my least favorite of the saga...BUT for the effect the one website was going for it is more necessary to the storyline in that order than TPM.

But yes even with all the stupidity in TPM it is a better film than AOTC. There I said it.

NOOOOO! Goddamit. There is nothing redeemable about AOTC. At least TPM led to that simulator arcade game. Plus you got the impression that things were probably going to get better with the next one then NOPE!!!

I really felt like Will Smith wiped my memory after I saw it the first time. (I've seen it twice). It was so terrible I had to unsee it.

That comment was like 4 years ago, though, so maybe you've come to your senses.

I have not heard of this Boss order. Is there more reasoning behind watching it like this?

:))

I enjoyed AOTC more than TPM when I watched them. I remember being impressed by seeing so many Jedi fight together at the end, as well as animated Yoda's jumpy fighting style. Also, while the love story acting was absolutely atrocious, the AOTC Anakin was more tolerable than TPM IMHO.

And since Ep 1-6 are really the story of Darth Vader, this had more Vader in a way so is better IMHO.
