Take it with a grain of salt...but even the later update seems on a positive note that it will happen...

Now we have to ask if the movie is going to include Chewbacca, at what point in the timeline the movie will be and if the Vong will be mentioned if the age of Ford comes into account.

Chewie's death will be one of the things ignored IMO and they won't mention the Vong at all.

He could just be signed on for a cameo, to be fair.

I really hope all three (Ford, Hamill, and Fisher) appear in it.

It does to me. In actuality despite Harrison's desires I think it makes sense if Han and Leia actually survive while Luke is the one that dies. Luke should be assuming the Obi-Wan role - the aged mentor who has to die to propel the protagonist to find their heroic self. Having all of them die might be overkill and too much.

Sox, especially if that's all in one movie. Yikes just thinking about that.

I hope not, as it's been done in both trilogies. Killing Han makes more sense to me as Luke has been the face of Star Wars for decades.

I dunno, from this clip, looks like Harrison and the wookie have serious issues!
