Anyone else try this out?

I tried it, and wile I'm not a huge FPS player, the graphics were fantastic. Gameplay... meh, I gave it back to my friend who beat it the first ay he had it.

I should be picking this up in a couple weeks. Really looking forward to playing because it looks awesome. I haven't played any Halo games since the original launched.

Halo Wars was an interesting offshoot, more of a "Total Annihilation" game of strategy. Of course I'm not the XBox fan because of the controller(heh, I bought a mini controller that actually fits my hands more like a PS controller though.) but I think this franchise is going to continue to grow because of the visuals.

My son plays the Halo series, it's an interesting storyline but I can never get near the console to play it myself. :))

I'm hoping to pick this up for him for Xmas but I assume one way or another I'll be able to see it in my home soon.

After Halo 3 I really don't see where the story can go. I've heard nothing but good things, however.. except that the single player campaign is extremely short.

I really wish first-person didn't give me headaches and dizziness. I can play any third person 3d shooter or MMO okay, but I haven't really felt fps' since the Quake & Doom days. Kind of sucks because Halo & Half Life both have awesome storylines. :(

That sucks. Wolfenstein 3D gave me headaches when I first started playing it in 10th grade. Now the spinning doesn't bother me.

At first, I thought the new "perks" were too Call of Duty-ish. But they really don't change the feel of the game at all, now that I've been playing it. The storyline wasn't perfect, but it was passable.
